Re: majorexchange #20089
Major, the concern with posting personal info is that you could give too much and open yourself up to being identified. You never know if one fact you give out about yourself will be the one that identifies you. I do know that several of the more staunch advocates of Verb have been threatened for trying to protect their/our investment. So while I am a big advocate of transparency, and not one to be just a facade, be careful with what you post. Full identities are given at Verb events, and strongly recommend every true long attend the next, whenever that may be. One of the most interesting and enjoyable things about being invested here is the cast of characters I have gotten to know.
As such, I have made many “small world” encounters opening up to other Verb shareholders. Turns out one of my best friends from high school invested early in a private placement and neither of us knew the other was invested until we got to talking about our investments a year or so ago. Another lives in the small small beach town in Florida as my cousin and they know each other. Another owns a small family business and his father has done business with my Uncles small family biz in Pennsylvania. And there is more, but you get the idea.
All that being said, and in the spirit of what you propose:
51, live in your State of Massachusetts. Married, two kids, my eldest being Class of 2020.....living that craziness . Started investing in Verb here after the fall from $3. Own both stocks and warrants. I am a service engineer in the biomedical equipment field. No where near retirement but believe If all goes well, Verb may change that.
My life away from work revolves around my kids sports. My son played baseball (robbed of his senior varsity year) and my younger daughter plays softball. I help coach a few teams she is on and looking forward to them starting to play again, hopefully soon. Love all music, but if I had my way, Steely Dan would play round the clock.
Beyond that, you will have to come to the Open House to find out.
Wishing you all a very Happy Fourth of July.
