Yes there is some shaping going on .... And they are in it to make money.
But you can use it as a tool in a way by watching when they load up on the ask. Particularly around resistance or round numbers.
Note: there a some things they can do to disguise they number of shares being traded as to not too off investors .. Such as reporting some trading activity after close .... Or disguising the true number of shares ... For example 100 could represent 1000 ...i forget how this is done .. But it is the scope of my understanding so far
