Yes, this was clearly an orchestrated short attack. I was watching it real-time and immediately recognized it when the volume quickly increased and it took the classic nose dive. I texted a family member who was hoping to get in at a lower price when it was less than a minute into the attack and just before it broke below $9, and told them to hang on because they're about to get their chance. It dropped like a rock and with massive volume which is not a retrace. I've seen this too many times, and there's been plenty of noise and evidence that a short attack was imminent. It started right after the buying slacked off around $9.5 where it had been struggling for a while. I had a feeling it was about to start and sold 10k shares at $9.51 and 15-20 minutes later I bought back 20k shares at $4.72 for the same amount that I sold the 10k shares. I'm still down ~$800k for the day, but hey, I have an extra 10k shares for the next ride up, so I'm good.
