Take it or leave it !!!!!!! .. Didnt even want to bring this up but .. 40 years of investing and i remember a few things,,,, anyway here goes .You speculate i will as well ..Have a great night i know we all will
Ive seen stocks run like this more than a few times ..7 out 10 times its a buyout or at least an offer of a buyout. I have no clue what management might entertain at this point.. In past scenarios the aquiring company knows if they made the offer when the stock was 3 and they offered 6 which is a 100 % premium its looks good .But they have talked to the company and they say not even close .. We want 15 or 20... The acquiring company knows their shareholders would have shit fit if the stock was 3 and they offered 15 to buy cydy .. So what do they do ,,, hostiles take way to long and legal shit gets in the way .....So they buy some shares in the open market and get them cheaper than the 15-20 they know they have to pay later ,,,,plus if the stocks at 10-12 they can justify a 50% premium to the shareholder base and pay maybe 18 and it doesnt look so bad.. Ok great company trading at 12 we gave 18 for a great company .. shareholders can say so ok thats fair ....... then everyones happy ...
