Understandable, and I agree that he would likely struggle to keep it a secret. But based on past trials of ours, as well as data/trials from other companies I dont believe they are precluded from releasing trial data. Perhaps they are precluded from saying certain things but I don't believe "we met our primary end point," or "we had x amount of fatality in treatment, and y amount of fatality in Placebo" are taboo.
