In case anyone is trading through a traditional IRA and did not take tc's advice. I converted my CYDY, GNBT, and, NGIO shares to a Roth. I will owe about $1500 or less in taxes. My IRA has doubled and NGIO has not even priced yet. I have also submitted the form to move my AAPL there. I have no interest in trading it and I have all of my original investment back. I will strategically move equities to the Roth a little at a time, so that I can gradually pay the taxes. Now that it appears that NGIO may become a reality, transferring it to a Roth with no taxes due seems to be a win-win situation.
