I can’t think of a board of directors that would offer 10x a stock price especially if it would means 10 of billions of dollars.
How would you feel if our board bought another public company for ten x what their current price was.
Maybe a high price by using CSR’s based on some predefined achievements.
While I wish the talk was right, I find it highly unlikely for any company.
