One of the main anti-inflammatory actions of corticosteroids like Dexamethasone is the inhibition of GM-CSF. So I would expect no better results with a direct GM-CSF inhibitor than was shown by Dexamethasone. Which was 27% death rate on ventilators, 20% death rate on supplemental oxygen and 13% no oxygen.
