I was thinking about the BP paper that is anticipated to be published, and how the new articles ( apparently ) come out on Thursdays.
My next thought was since this talk and the interview came today on Wednesday, that the back and forth discussion on the peer review was close to completion and he was ready to present his thesis publicly, expecting the paper to be published soon.
Would he present these talks beforehand knowing he was about to get shot down?
I wonder how far in advance these Ted Talks are scheduled?
