Yeah that happened to me with Fidelity that is why it is good to have another broker that will allow you to buy stop sign stocks. E-Trade, TD Ameritrade and Schwab allow this. Only Schwab doesn't charge a commission but you can only buy 999,999 shares at a time which is a pain but I made it work
