Pete, yes they do. You are probably not going to get a logical answer as to why the naked shorts don’t take the massive profit and move on, instead of continuing to pay interest to MMs for the borrowed shares (fake or not) and risking the stock recovering. Ask yourself what you would do if you naked shorted 50M shares (according to some here) from ~$5 to 5 cents over the years. I would take the $100M+ profit and run.
