“ The president of the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Mexico, Ricardo Alfredo Sodi Cuellar, pointed out that the crime of contagion of disease is provided for in the Penal Code, so that people who do it intentionally can be punished with up to three years in prison .
He explained that this crime applies to different conditions such as the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that causes covid-19 disease, HIV or AIDS, either through sexual contact or any other.”
