I wonder if introduction of an angiotensin-(1-7) mimetic would lower the conversion rate of naturally occurring angiotensin 2. Basically angiotensin 2 increases the amount of chemokines and will convert over to angiotensin (1-7) to balance it out. If the mimetic angiotensin (1-7) lowers that conversion then angiotensin 2 will still be increasing chemokines as the mimetic tries to lower them.
