I have always felt that giving to individuals as opposed to organizations where CEO's are getting paid huge annual salaries is preferred.
We all know many people who can use help and just need a helping hand to get a fresh start by paying off a credit bill or a car loan for them or a dentist bill or they need a new appliance etc.
We just need to look at all the people our communities, many are too proud to ask for help. This is our time to be Dr Dalton's partners in changing and helping people.
An envelope with $300 cash under someone's door can make a huge difference. I know as I was there when we were extremely poor immigrants to the USA in December 1984, when we arrived with "nothing" but a dream. Thank G-D, we are a huge "Poor Immigrant Success Story" in the USA but it took extremely hard work and many 18 hour days of work working multiple jobs at the same time.
Many honest hard working people just need a "helping hand" to help with unexpected expenses.
May G-D give all of us the Wisdom to use our wealth wisely and to be able to help as many people as possible without looking for any glory or headlines.
