I also fully agree with the second part of your post that I am responding to, but I do not agree with the first part.
I am not at all addicted to losing or suffering. The increase in pps towards the > $1.50/share level, was after the first announcement of the China deal, and of course everybody was expecting the pps to go higher once the company World make more progress on the vaccine development. When the pps started declining again, the announcement of GNBT talking to BARDA and the photos of JoeM in Washington kept me hoping for a quick positive BARDA decision and a big news that works change everything for the better in a similar way as it turned out, pps wise, for nvax, that your mentioned.
As written before, I am still positive that this positive decision is still up come and we actually will see a similar humongous effect on the value of our shares. It is just a drag, a nerve-wracking one for most of us, to wait for it to become our reality.
