Your point is interesting, so I looked at the charts again, especially since you said ICUs were empty and the elderly were starving. It seemed like deaths hit the expected deaths line after COVID waned which to me means the excess deaths were probably due to undercounting COVID deaths. BTW, what part of Europe are you in?
