He is under multiple NDA's, is not in control of FDA timeslines, and cannot control exactly how quickly the data can be gotten to the FDA once the trials are unblinded. What could he speak in absolute terms about? He may not be the best speaker in the world, but he is giving us all that he can given his constraints, and his attitude also shows us how excited he is.
