Why would they announce a trial for remdesivir vs. leronlimab? It's a backup in case the FDA tries to screw us around and shows them we mean business. The FDA isn't going to want to exposure their failure in approving remdesivir.

If the FDA does screw us around I guarantee you'll soon see a PR announcing a submittal of the protocol of that trial to the FDA. To say that there was never going to be a trial shows a lack of understanding.
