Called novitas today about status of application....few things I learned...
-You need an NPI number to get medicare approved. They will not approve your application without it. So Mikeys theory is most likely correct. That that could have been the reason for development.
-It takes 30 minutes or so for renewal of NPI number IF ITS done ELECTRONICALLY but then has to be updated through systems which takes time.
-Our application was submitted as 855B with EFT and electronically. (EFT: Electronic Funds Transfer) So we can receive funds once we get approved electronically. Smart move by Doc.
-They told me Doc has 30 days to respond to the revisions. But it was an automated system that gave me most of the information I'm telling you guys now.
-They did not say yes or no if they have received the development just that the application was still in development.
