NP first mentioned the new NASH animal study a couple of months ago in a different CC. I believe it was in February, but it could’ve been March. He said then, as he did today, that Scott Kelly was working with a laboratory to run the same preclinical NASH test as another biotech did that got said biotech a $1 billion licensing deal. If you read back a few weeks ago, I proposed one of the questions for NP during a web conference be an update on the new NASH trial. The question didn’t get answered then, but it did today.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like that preclinical trial has been initiated yet or at least that’s how I interpreted his comments today.
