What's the risk/reward for stopping the study at 50 people vs. waiting ~2 weeks to enroll 20 more people?
Given what we know, anything that accelerates FDA approval for EUA should be done. And if there aren't fantastic results, at least we will get a bucket full of ice water in our faces and wake us up from this dream.
