I'm sitting here listening to Dr. Yo's interview with Sarah's husband and I am just in shock about the care systems and drugs. Her husband just said that they gave them the news that there was no hope and basically go home and deal with end of life issues. He discovered and started researching Linronlimab and were told with Corona it was too dangerous for her to do the things she wanted to do to be treated.
Here is a young woman, dying, and she and her husband looking for possible solutions to give them hope and told you can't do this because its dangerous?
The drug/care protocol has to be changed. If I am terminal and I want to try something, that should be a decision between me, my medical professional but when I say this is what I want, it should be the end of the discussion and not require some paper pushing bureaucrat that has to cover their behind. I'd even try to get the drug under the table if I had to.
My heart goes out to this family and I truly hope that Lironlimab can improve her quality and give her quantiy of life too.
