Completely agree. I think Dr. JL was caught in the middle given that he has a requirement that the drug be administered alongside chemo as per the protocol. If you recall they had to put the first patient back on chemo after they put out that press release because someone obviously called them out on it. I am sure they are trying to play by the rules but it's probably maddening for them given that they know it has proved effective on its own for NP's MIL.

Bureaucracy has a place, but not when lives are at stake imo. Hearing that many patients are dying while they wait for the paperwork to be completed is disgusting.
