Not sure, but I’d guess a few of the wiser shorts are closing their positions (likely at a loss). iborrowdesk rates have dropped from almost no shares and 140% to a few buckets of 2-300,000 shares and now down to 68%....sure it could be more shares being loaned, but my guess is some of the shorts are reducing their positions after their attempts to manipulate the stock over the past few weeks largely failed.
