If you listen to the pod cast, it is interesting to learn that this drug is a next attempt by the research groups that developed Remdesivir. I am not commenting on its odds for success, but its trials probably have high visibility in NIH because its been in development specifically against coronavirus long before this new novel form we are fighting today surfaced.
