Kimmel, US media, happy to peddle ‘fake news’

It’s an “indictment” on late night star Jimmy Kimmell and his staff that they deliberately chose to air misleading footage of US Vice President Mike Pence in “order to make him look bad,” according to Sky News contributor Daisy Cousens.
Mr Kimmell has apologised after his program aired a deceptively edited clip that implied Vice President Pence was carrying fake Protective Protection Equipment (PPE) into a Virginian hospital, which turned out to be not true.
Ms Cousens told Sky News, Kimmell and other journalists “hate Donald Trump so much” they would be “perfectly happy to peddle fake news.”
