87500 deaths as of today. Averaging about 2000 a day. That puts the figure at 2000x15 more days = 30000 + 87500= 117500 for May
If we don't include spikes from reopening and use 2000 nationally then june will bring 30 days = 60000
117500 + 60000= 177500 for 4th of July
July has 31 days. Lets say the summer heat reduces the death toll to 1500 a day nation wide. That brings july to 46500.
So we start August with 224000 dead .
This figure is low because we did not factor in the potential spikes from reopening. So we are looking at a quarter million deaths by August 1.
