The point is that you are just flat wrong about MIs. MIs are most generally the result of inflammation in the arterial endothelium. Pure and simple. The damage to the endothelium from inflammation may be chronic or acute.
The other source of thrombi in the coronary arteries can be as the direct result of the inflammatory process: inhibition of the fibrino-lytic system.
Now, the etiology of that inflammation is, of course, always of interest. VLDLs, RANTES due to COVID-19, etc.; and, science is being employed to determine that etiology.
