Why would Sycamore, (or anyone else) buy shares they know are going to be worth less very soon.
"Not burned as bad".
Unless that is a stipulation Mark imposed as part of a very sweet deal for them.
Meanwhile, they buyer (I'm guessing Sycamore) got the shares cheaper and won't be burned as much during the r/s process
