TechGuru, Do you have a sense of how the "take an interim peak" works with a trial like this?

I know NP mentioned on the last call that there was a possibility of doing it last week. If they did so, do they calculate the p values based on the number of trial participants at the time of a peek and if it exceeds a certain value they can basically say the remaining patients won't change the statistics and therefore we should proceed to the next step?

Curious how many patients we need to have and whether they would likely do this if the trial still hasn't filled in a couple of weeks (hopefully it will fill much quicker of course) as we will likely have really good numbers.
