Completely agree with this.
I know many FDA conspiracy theories have been posted here but I really believe folks are completely underestimating the crushing pressure the FDA is under to get the country out of this mess with viable treatments. And that pressure likely dwarfs any cronyism resistance within the org.
The fact is, Remdisivir has empirical data (ridiculously borderline that it may be, even after the goal posts were moved in) and we don't. We must fully enroll the mild/moderate trial ASAP.
