Absolutely. It's horrific that the treatments actually worsen outcomes in many cases, but it's entirely possible some people wouldn't be able to handle this without even a misguided belief that there was some sort of answer out there, no matter how ineffectual.
The truth is that there IS a real answer, Cytodyn has it, and I think everyone will know that shortly
