I haven’t done this with APPL recently, but I like to sell near expiration in the money puts using my cash as collateral. If they are put to me and I think they’re running a bit hot I’ll sell an in the money covered call. Sometimes I just sell the shares and sell another put. Sometimes I just buy back the option I sold if I like the movement vs. time I had it open.
