Most of you are pretty out of touch with reality on technology, patents and marketing.

The news article from their local paper stated Mr. Barnhizer had the idea within the last month (early April in the article), they got the materials together last week and configured the test and then they also finished the testing last week. I believe no patent would be prepared or filed prior to knowing the technology worked. That would literally be stupid and I don’t think any of those three people listed in the article can be described that way.
