I remember reading that the fda has a control board which knows results real time and knows who is placebo and who isn’t. I heard that board can halt trials before they are done if determined that a drug is causing harm or is working. What are your thoughts on that? If it’s true then couldn’t we hear something soonif results appear overwhelming good?
Second, what about the first patients who may be done with their treatment and results are known but trials are not done yet, still enrolling patients? Do we have to wait until all are enrolled and then wait for results after that or is the 6 weeks clock already ticking because some patients are done?
