Some may not realize how long it can take for a patent application to be approved and published. Below is a patent application made by Sound Concepts on September 6th, 2017. It has yet to be approved, but is still in progress.

I have personally applied for a patent on September 27th, 2019 and it has yet to be approved. I'm not holding my breath waiting on it either. Watching patent applications become approved patents is slower than watching water boil imo.
