The excitement behind today’s pre-print PR won’t be nearly as high as the excitement behind the official publication. At this point, mostly investors are reading the pre-print. The official publication will be read by medical professionals and researchers around the world in Nature or the major prestigious journal that NP has mentioned. I get various emails each week from uptodate, Doximity, JAMA and other medical publications/organizations about COVID. My hope is that this paper will be disseminated in a similar manner.
