In my mind the more these kinds of articles come out, especially in wide circulation outlets like Politico, the better for DECN. These articles educate the public and expose the weaknesses in most of the other tests. That last paragraph is scary. The fewer people in a population that have the bug, the more likely to get a false positive? Really? WTH? That doesn't sound much better than ouija board or maybe a thermometer. If impedance spectrometry works as stated, it really has the possibility to become the de facto standard. And that at a price that is 75-95% cheaper than the currently advertised "at home" tests which really are NOT at home tests. At best they are home collection tests with all of the problems inherent in doing that. The picture will become clearer with each new puzzle piece that is turned over. I'm eagerly waiting to see what comes next.
