Of course, the language of "my understanding" adds some wiggle room BUT he did say in the interview that he directly interviewed Dr. Patterson so this might very well be what he was told.

Thanks for the comment. My understanding is the Montefiore study is going to be published in JAMA in next few days so keep a lookout for it.
