This Remdesvir hype is the craziest nonsense , completely biased. The Lancet have published the results of the placebo controlled trial done in China. Ok ,it wasn't completed,but it did dose 237 patients ,and there was no benefit. That's clear enough.
These 'positive' results announced today only show that 5 days dosing is as effective as 10 .That was the primary outcome . It is pretty obvious why they achieved that primary outcome, especially in light of the Chinese trial, i.e neither dose helped. One day dosing would most likely as good as 5 days ,or no days .
What's not clear is how or why a non placebo controlled trial can be labelled as phase 3 !!!??
