An increase in 5 and 6 decimal place trades means more MMs are trading.
Keep in mind that a retail trader can get one of these obscure prints if their order runs into a hidden institutional or MM order. I'm sure many here have had this happen. Put in a buy at .01 and get .00995....or something like that.
To me it's an indication that the interest is spreading out beyond retail.
