You know, that’s a really, really interesting point. Someone at DECN knew the SEC were investigating well ahead of the suspension.
Did the tell anyone what was going on? Who was it dumping the stock / causing all those rapid falls in PPS? Some like to claim it was shorters. It seems much more likely it was someone who knew what was coming.
So in PR’s and on messageboards, DECN and their cheerleaders are screaming “BUY!” while whoever sells. I’m pretty cynical, but that’s above and beyond the usual reprehensible behavior. Or below and beyond, I guess.
As soon as a federal regulator started asking questions, anyone who had a working test would immediately say.. “you don’t believe us? Well, here... here it is, and this is how it works...”
Someone without a working test might tell a bunch of stories about South Korean partners “validation,” or Nobel Prizes.. I don’t think the SEC is as slow as some investors, judging from their reaction.
