Am I right in thinking that although the govt is going to fund the research, one has to pretty much go along w/ a BP backer to get the trials going?

Asking as I heard from elsewhere that some BP (s) were pressuring smaller outfits with remarks that sounded like above was true and if they weren't with a BP the FDA would delay or not allow the trial.

I notice IPIX was told to find the hospital or healthcare system for our trial on CV19 patients (if lung tissue testing goes well) so maybe we could do on our own, or possibly use a EU healthcare system to get around any possible bullying by a BP here in the States.
