Well, you may be right... a lower % of something may be better than a higher % of nada.
However:
1). The S-1 has to be approved (and the Investor must still be interested?).
2). It would take over 24MM shares to raise $10MM (or more, all I remember off hand is we would get .92 on the dollar, but I think there are more fees).
3). That would be at least a 31% dilution.
4). What would the $10MM go to? Need some for AltuCell closing. Have some debt due. Lots of “immediate” cash needs, in addition to getting the Excellagen program rolling. .
5). We still may need to issue shares to cover “previous” acquisitions that have outstanding balances. Some of those are still sitting out there at $2.50/sh.
6). The higher the share count, the more we have to drag across the finish line to the Nas.
