Not one to subscribe to conspiracy theories, but I agree its a bit odd. My question is long term does it matter? Fauci’s position seems to be merely a mouthpiece for trump. He never seems to have anything positive to say on any subject. As far as I can tell he doesn’t work for the FDA. Does he have any say in what will eventually get approved?
To me he looks like nothing more than another talking head, and one that the president barely tolerates (for now).
