Having now seen it, I agree that the interview probably did not cause the spike. And that is a very good thing because the spike will much more likely hold up in tomorrow's trading. And more importantly, it means that the spike was more likely caused by something good going on behind the scenes and leaking (ie a PR Tuesday or Wednesday morning about the UK or about the BLA filing or about non-dilutive financing).
