I recently had a blue heron land in my back yard and stay for about 15 minutes resting on the side of my pool. Also a bald eagle soared over me in my car. I live on the chain of lakes in northern il. I looked up what it means when you cross paths with either and it gave me chills. As beautiful as it is here I cant wait to get out of this corrupt state. I have pics and video of the heron. My wife approached it and it just looked at her and inched away. Truly amazed.
