Re: Commando911 #64114
Their technology is nowhere near ready. They have a system for an inhaled powder form of drugs. They haven't even completed a Phase 2 clinical trial for their first drug, their second drug has Phase 1, and their third one is "ready" for Phase 1 i.e. it hasn't started.
There is NO way that a technology like this would be approved to use with Brilacidin when there isn't even a completed Phase 2. The powder formulation would have to be engineered for Brilacidin, and you can bet that they will want safety testing before using a powder form of a drug in people who are ill with lung infection and inflammation. This would be a long process.
If Brilacidin were to be used in some kind of inhaled form, it sure won't be this one in the near future, by which I mean by the end of 2020.
