I certainly would not favor $10/shr and 10% GILD shares. My preference is to invest in small caps with terrific potential to completely reshape an industry, a la CYDY. (Of course, it's a huge bonus that in this case the industry is life saving.)
Here's why: $10/shr only gives us a 4x return from today. What's more, Gilead is a 102bb market cap BP member; CytoDyn currently 1% of that. Investing $10,000 in CYDY ($2.25/shr) and seeing it blow up to $100/shr within 3-5+ years gets the number to over $400,000. Investing the same $$ in a $100bb company that owns / develops the market for Leron gets you a much smaller return, IMO. It's the math. Leron won't drive the growth on a larger base to the same degree.
It's why Apple is not likely to triple your investment in five years. It's too big. I may be looking at this wrong, but I do NOT want a BO of any kind until we see the future more clearly. I would hope most investors would agree. Hang on tight!!
Lastly, I appreciate the thoughtful input from most posters on this board. I am learning an awful lot, and more quickly than before joining.
