The American public (and the rest of the world) want a miracle. The three saints (NP, BP and JL) are going to give them one. With the release of interim data and it's submittal to the FDA there's going to be a hue and cry for approval. The last thing the FDA wants is the mob coming after them with torches and pitchforks.
